The Department of Southeast Asian Studies has been organizing the International Conference on Southeast Asia with its popular acronym ICONSEA since 2005. This year the department proposes to organise the bi-annual event in conjunction with the 60th Anniversary of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, University of Malaya. The proposed dates for the event is from the 2nd to 4th December 2019. It will be held at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, University of Malaya.
