GUIDELINE FOR PRESENTER AND PARTICIPANT

 

(I) Create Platform (UMEvent) Account

  1. Register for the UMEvent platform at https://umevent.um.edu.my/register/

  2. Click on the Account Verification link in your email, and login.

  3. Select ICSAM2024 in the Upcoming Conferences.

  4. Fill up your personal information. 

  5. For the Role field, please choose either “PRESENTER” OR "PARTICIPANT". 

 

(II) Abstract Submission (Please skip this step if you are a participant)

  1. Login to your UMEvent account at: https://umevent.um.edu.my/login/

  2. Click “Abstract is Empty” in the ICSAM2024 landing page in UMEvent.

  3. Prepare an abstract of 250-300 words pertaining to a topic of interest in this programme.

  4. Indicate 5-6 keywords for the abstract including the topic of interest.

  5. Complete information required at the “Abstract Submission Form” and attach your abstract in MS Word file. 

  6. Submit the form. 

 

(III) Confirmation and Payment

  1. After receiving the abstract acceptance notification, proceed to payment in the ICSAM2024 landing page in UMEvent. 

  2. Follow the instructions given at the payment page. 

  3. Please email a copy of the receipt to ammp@um.edu.my with the title “[Presenter’s Name] Receipt”. 

  4. Please consult the Secretariat at ammp@um.edu.my if you wish to pay by Local Order (LO) / Purchase Order. 

  5. The payment status will be confirmed once the Secretariat has verified the receipt of your payment.

  6. Payment is non-refundable.

 

(IV) Confirmation and Payment

  1. Proceed to payment in the ICSAM2024 landing page in UMEvent.

  2. Follow the instructions given at the payment page. 

  3. Please email a copy of the receipt to ammp@um.edu.my with the title “[Presenter’s Name] Receipt”. 

  4. Please consult the Secretariat at ammp@um.edu.my if you wish to pay by Local Order (LO) / Purchase Order

  5. The payment status will be confirmed once the Secretariat has verified the receipt of your payment.

  6. Payment is non-refundable.


 

(V) Conference Fee Structure

Note;

  1. Participation in the conference can be physical as well as virtual in two modes- Presenter OR Participant.
    • Presenter- take part to present an oral presentation
    • Participant- Normal attendee
  2. Attendees are responsible for own accommodation arrangements but we may suggest you to stay at Aloft KL Sentral or nearby Hotel (Sentral Suites KL Sentral by The Cynefin or Ascott Sentral Kuala Lumpur). 
  3. Fees will cover;
