Workshop: From data to language teaching materials

In this session we will first examine some basic techniques in corpus analysis, including concordancing, creating word lists and performing a keyword analysis. We will then consider how these techniques can be used in curriculum design and in the development of language teaching materials. We will explore the benefits and drawbacks of using corpus-based materials.
