IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, the conference will be held as an online conference via ZOOM platform.

The International Conference on Integrated Urban Planning 2021 (ICIUP2021) aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to present and discuss all aspects in the field of urban planning and development that address contemporary global, national, and local issues. This year, the ICIUP 2021 will discuss issues related to post-pandemic planning and the impacts of COVID19 on the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals. At the local level, the COVID19 pandemic has already had some effect on how people are living and working within Malaysian cities, however, which impacts are temporary and which are more permanent remains to be seen. Hence, this conference undertakes to efficiently cover post-pandemic planning, which is affecting the ways urban areas are planned and built.

This one day conference with the main theme of "(Re)imagining the Pandemic-Resilience Cities: Lesson Learned From COVID19" will explore Malaysian's city planning dynamics as a result of the pandemic crisis. In particular, this conference will critically debate and engage discussion with issues related to:

  1. Post-Pandemic Planning
  2. Healthy Cities
  3. Future Cities and Communities
  4. Smart Cities and Governance
  5. (In)equality and Right to City
  6. Housing and Settlement
  7. Urban Economics and Society

All paper submissions will be double-blind and peer-reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability.

Selected papers that are presented in the conference that match with the topics of the journals will be published in the SCOPUS and REFEREED journals!!
