Submission and Presentation Guidelines

Abstract

• Please prepare abstract of the study in MS Word file for the submision
• Upload the abstract in UMEvent system before 30th December 2024

Oral Category 

• Presentation slides format: Power point, keynote or equivalent
• Duration of presentation: 3 minutes
• Recommended presentation slides: Not more than 10 
• Medium of language: English
• For virtual category, oral presentations should be provided as a pre-recorded video

Poster Category 

• The poster must be in one (1) page. Additional pages will not be accepted
• The poster must include title of research, name(s), affiliations, logo of afficiliations (to be positioned at the left corner of poster) and UM sign-off (to be positioned at the right corner of poster)
• Orientation: Potrait or landscape
• Size: A1 (594mm x 841mm or 23.39" x 33.11")
• Recommended font sizes (Title >72pt, Headings 30-60pt, Text 16-24pt)
• For virtual category, softcopy of the poster must be submitted to the secretariat before the deadline
