The International Building Surveying Conference (IBSC) is a conference dedicated to promoting the importance, significance and advancement of building surveying works in the construction industry. This conference is deliberately planned for various backgrounds in the Built Environment who are frequently involved in building surveying scope of works. With the advance of technologies and the wave of Industry Revolution, IBSC 2025 offers an opportunity for awareness and enhancement of knowledge and to keeping-up with the latest know-how in the field. IBSC also provides a platform for the participants to learn from the invited guest speakers including distinguished overseas experts, covering the key issues on the Building Surveying practices.
The organizing committee invites all government officers, practitioners, researchers, academics, professional, students and those interested to participate in the forthcoming IBSC. CPD points are applied from respective professional bodies. This conference is organized by the Department of Building Surveying, Faculty of Built Environment, UM, and co-organized with the Public Works Department Malaysia, Royal Institutions of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) (Sarawak Branch), Liverpool John Moores University, and University of Technology Sarawak with its supported organization Business Events (BE) Sarawak.
The aim of this conference is:
To promote Building Surveying Profession in Malaysia. In addition, the conference expected to enhance and leverage the advance of technologies in building surveying works, especially in design, monitoring and performance through knowledge and best practices among academia, professionals, and practitioners.
