FORMAT 2
SUBMISSION OF FULL ARTICLE
1. Prospective contributions must be clearly written using British English and standard Bahasa Malaysia. Articles should be between 4,000 to 7,000 words.
2. The manuscript should be prepared on A4 size with 2.5 cm margin from the top and 2.0 cm margin from the bottom, left and right. The text is single spaced and justified, uses a 12-point font of Garamond. Paragraphs should be separated by double spacing.
3. All manuscripts should have article title, full name(s) of author(s), affiliation(s), mailing and email address(es).
4. The manuscript must contain an abstract. The length of the abstract must be in between 150 to 200 words including the purpose of the paper, the scope, objective, methodology, findings, practical applications and significance. Please also provide minimum 3 and maximum 5 chosen keywords in the language of the manuscript.
5. Submitted articles must be original worl. Articles that have been published elsewhere or are being considered for publication by other publications would not be considered.
6. References should be focused on the most pertinent, and up-to-date sources. In matters of grammar and usage, ICIM 2024 refers to the style guide of the American Psychological Association (APA) (http://www.apastyle.org).
7. It is the responsibility of the author(s) to ensure that the English used has been thoroughly checked to ensure that there is no grammatical or spelling error. Authors who wish to refine the use of English in their manuscripts may like to consider engaging professional editing services. Any costs incurred in engaging such services are the sole responsibility of the author(s).
8. Manuscripts should be submitted either *.docx or *.doc (MS Word Document format) at submissions of this conference.
9. Manuscripts will be acknowledged upon receipt via e-mail. Review of the manuscript is carried out as swiftly as possible.
10. All conflicts of interest must be declared by all prospective contributors in the Acknowledgement section of the article. Conflicts of interest include any personal or professional affiliation, any financial interests, and/or any past, present or anticipated activities that may compromise the quality or objectivity of the manuscript.
11. Sections and subsections should be given the titles respectively. There should be 5 subsections, namely introduction, literature review, methodology, findings and discussion, conclusion and implication. Bolded capital letters should be used for the section titles. For subsections, the first letter of each word should be in capital letter, followed by small letters and all must be italic.
12. Tables and figures should be clearly labelled. Any tables, figures or illustrations should be placed within the text at the appropriate points on the same page rather than at the end. It must be assigned an Arabic numeral as table or figure number; the table number and title, and the figure number and title should be placed on top of the table and figure. The source of the table and figure, if applicable, should be placed below the table and the figure. The first letter of the title should be in capital letter. Any tables, figures or illustrations should be placed in the middle of the page between left and right margins.
13. The manuscript must provide a complete bibliography. Bibliographic references must be arranged alphabetically and follow the following format:
Book: Surname of the Author(s), Initial(s) (Year). Title of the Book. Name of Publisher.
Example: Ilhaamie, A.G.A. (2013). Kualiti Perkhidmatan Islam dalam Perkhidmatan Awam. Kuala Lumpur: UM Press.
Chapter or Article in a Book: Surname of the Author(s), Initial(s) (Year). Title of the Chapter or Article. in Surname of the Author(s) or Editor(s) of the Book, Initial(s). Title of the Book. Name of Publisher. Pages comprising the chapter or article within the book.
