We are pleased to invite you to the 1st International Symposium of Pharmacy Research, IMPRES 2022! The study of metabolism and metabolic diseases has spread from the field of endocrinology to all disciplines within the life sciences, leading to a spectacular diversification of metabolism research. The aim of this 2-day virtual symposium is to bring together experts working on metabolic underpinnings of common pathologies, including cardiovascular disease, obesity and cancer.
The unifying theme of this conference will be how the dysregulation of metabolism contributes to pathological states and how metabolic pathways can be potential drug targets with novel delivery methods. This symposium will also explore and discuss recent advances in metabolomics as a key emerging tool for precision medicine. With a broad scope, this will provide opportunities to highlight both common and unique underlying principles and pathways of metabolic malfunction in human pathology and its therapeutic implications.
We hope to provide opportunities for researchers, academics, undergraduate and postgraduate students from Malaysia and around the world to communicate their research findings in, but not limited to, the following areas:
