The Migration Research Centre, as the organiser of the symposium launches its first international symposium, proposes to launch the event in conjunction with the biannual International Conference on Southeast Asia (8^th ICONSEA). The proposed dates for the event is from the 2^nd and 3^rd December 2019. It will be held at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, University of Malaya with the main theme Mobility across Borders: Between Tradition and Coercion.
