Matthew graduated from the university of Bristol where he also undertook his higher specialist training in restorative dentistry. Matthew is currently a consultant in restorative dentistry at the Eastman dental hospital & institute, London, UK. He is registered with the general dental council (UK) as a specialist in restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics and periodontics. He is chair of the specialist advisory committee in restorative dentistry & the mono specialties and vice-dean of the faculty of dental surgery, RCS (England)  

Alex Landau is director of examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons.  His directorate develops and delivers 18 postgraduate dental and surgical examinations, assessing candidates at various career stages. He is a member of the general medical council’s curriculum advisory group, providing specialist input in curricular and assessment submissions from other medical royal colleges.
