The International Building Control Conference (IBCC) is a conference series dedicated to promote the importance, significance and advancement of building control and compliance for construction industry. This conference is deliberately planned for various backgrounds in the Built Environment who are frequently involved in building construction activities. With the advance of technologies and the wave of Industry Revolution, IBCC 2021 offers an opportunity for awareness and enhancement of knowledge and to keeping-up with the latest know-how in the field.  IBCC also provides a platform for the participants to learn from the invited guest speakers including distinguished overseas experts, covering the key issues on the Converging Technologies towards Industry Revolution in the Built Environment. 

The organizing committee invites all government officers, practitioners, researchers, academics, professional, students and those interested to participate in the forthcoming IBCC. CPD points are applied from respective professional bodies. This conference is organized by the Department of Building Surveying, Faculty of Built Environment, UM and the Royal Institutions of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) as well as co organised with UiTM, UKM, USM & UtHM along with its supported organizations RICS, CABE   DBKL, BQSM, BEM, MBOT, LAM, BVM, MyRBS, CIDB, and CIOB. All conference papers accepted will be published in ISI/Scopus/Google indexed Journal. 

Also, this year 5th IBCC will be organized in conjunction with the annual conducts of International Built Environment Undergraduate Research Competition (BEURC). The 6th BEURC is an undergraduate competition dedicated to all registered undergraduates in Built Environment programmes at both national and international levels. This competition is also an advanced programme based on the continuation of the annual conducts of BS Undergraduate Research Competition (BSURC) which were held at Faculty of Built Environment (FBE), University of Malaya since 2013. This competition aims to give an exposure and training to all the Built Environment (BE) undergraduates in presenting and showcasing their research studies. Their research studies may be based on any research components from their studies including the final academic project (thesis) of the BE programme. The presenters will be presenting their research background and findings based on their respective theses.
