SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Abstract Submission
Please send the abstract as a Microsoft Word document in Times New Roman (200-250 words), including a title (uppercase), abstract, five keywords, author’s name(s), institutional affiliations (Department, faculty/college/school, university/ministry, and email address) to iconsea@um.edu.my. Those interested in organising panel presentations should submit panel proposals, including the panel abstract and individual abstracts. All abstracts should be in a Microsoft Word document, Times New Roman (200-250 words), including a title (uppercase), abstract and five keywords, author’s name(s), institutional affiliations (Department, faculty/college/school, university/ministry, and email address). Please submit your abstract to iconsea@um.edu.my.
Paper submission
ICONSEA11 will compile all papers submitted to this conference as an unpublished compilation and share them during the conference.
The template for submission is as follows:
i. Paper size [Width: 17.14cm, Height: 25.02cm] / font style and size: Times New Roman, size 12
ii. First page: Title of the paper, Name, position, affiliation, emails (affiliation and personal email)
iii. citations and references style: APA (latest version)
iv. Please cite all tables, graphs, maps, figures/photos,

CONFERENCE PUBLICATION
Selected papers will be considered for publication in JATI - Journal of Southeast Asian Studies. The journal publishes 2 volumes annually (June and December). Please visit the journal website for guidelines, submission and review process - https://jati.um.edu.my/
The organisers have plans for publishing edited books on thematic panels presented at the conference. If you are keen to publish your papers as chapters in the book, please send complete papers to the organisers at asiateng@um.edu.my.
