TRANSPORTATION
Arriving in Malaysia
International participants traveling by air will arrive at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or KLIA2, which are located two kilometers away from each other.
From the airport, conference participants can take the bus, taxi or the KLIA Ekspres train to the capital city of Kuala Lumpur or their respective hotels. You may also use the Grab application to call for a cab which you can download onto your mobile phones. The conference organisers do not provide transport arrangement between the airport and the participants’ hotels.
Getting to the Conference Venue
University of Malaya, Malaysia’s oldest university, is located in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur, and thus easily accessible with public transport.
By Train
Participants travelling by the Putra Light Rail Transit (LRT) should disembark at the Universiti Station. The Rapid KL buses are available from the station to UM campus (the journey is about 3 minutes).
After disembarking at Universiti Station, take RapidKL bus T789 to the Universiti Malaya. Disembark at PAUM Clubhouse.
