The Department of Nursing Science, Faculty of Medicine at Universiti Malaya is delighted to announce the hosting of the Universiti Malaya International Nursing Conference (UMINC) 2024.

The conference is organized in collaboration with the Nursing Research Steering Group (NRSG).

The theme of UMINC 2024 is "Fostering Evidence-Based Advancements: Transforming the Future of Nursing Practice and Healthcare"

We aim to bring together nurses, researchers, nursing students and stakeholders from nursing educational and healthcare institutions locally and internationally to share their insights.

The objectives of UMINC are as follows:

1. Facilitate an interactive platform for nursing professionals to exchange research findings, evidence-based practices, and innovative strategies. It also seeks to nurture collaboration and networking among various stakeholders.
2. Explore effective methods to transform research evidence into actionable strategies, with a focus on enhancing patient outcomes, elevating the quality of care, and addressing the manifold challenges encountered in healthcare settings.
3. Encourage nursing professionals to integrate research evidence seamlessly into their clinical decision-making processes and nursing practices, fostering a culture of evidence-based care delivery.
