Guideline for Poster Presentation at UMINC 2024

1. The poster presentation should succinctly display the following:

• Title

• Introduction

• Research objectives

• Methodology

• Key Results

• Conclusion

  Notes:

• Be specific about the effective use of Tables/ Figures to increase the visual effects.

• Spell out any abbreviations for clarity to the reader.

  Some tips on poster preparation:

• Self-explanatory with balanced texts and images; not too cramp

• Visually attract attention; right color combination; legible font and easily readable at 2-meter distance

• Be specific about your results; use tables and figures effectively

• Highlight the key implications of your study findings to nursing research/ practice.

• Spell out any abbreviations for clarity to the reader.

2. The format of poster is as below:

• Poster size: A0 (84 cm width × 118 cm height) (or 33” w × 46” h)
  > Page Setup to define a poster’s dimensions & select the "Orientation" as Portrait.

  Template: Please use the provided PPT template as a guideline to design your poster. You may refer to the example provided.

3. You are required to display poster at the poster board; hence, you need to bring the hardcopy of the poster. Please indicate the abstract ID No (E.g.: UMINC_ P_ XX) in the poster.
