The abstract must have a title, name(s) of author(s) and address, email address of the presenting author, and the text describing the abstract in not more than 250 words. State the choice of your sub theme. Specify the type of presentation you wish to make, oral, poster or workshop. Please note that accepted presentations will not be scheduled until the author has registered and payment has been received. Oral presentations will be allotted 15 minutes, including Q&A. Authors will receive written confirmation by email regarding acceptance of abstract and scheduling of their presentations.
The templates for the abstract and the full paper are given below:
Oral presentation (OR)
• All oral presentations MUST BE prepared using Microsoft PowerPoint 2007.
• Presentation files MUST BE written on CDs to ensure computer virus security. USB flash drives
strictly NOT allowed.
• There will be an uploading point at the registration desk on 13th October 2014.
• All files loaded in the conference computers will be automatically deleted at the end of the day.
• Presenters have 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for question and answer session. Oral
presenters must NOT exceed their allocated time.
Poster presentation (PO)
• Posters must be in the “Portrait” orientation (not “Landscape”).
• Maximum poster size is 80 cm (height) x 60 cm (width).
• Set up time for all posters will be at 2.00 pm on 13th October 2014.
• Poster presenting authors are requested to be by their posters during the poster session at specified
times to interact with judges and fellow participants.
• All posters have to be removed from the board before 12 noon on 16th October 2014.
• Mounting materials appropriate for the boards (velcro tape or pins, etc.) will be provided.
Workshop presentation (WP)
Workshop Presentation Guidelines
Up to 5 workshops will be included in the Conference Programme.
The time allocation for workshops is 100 minutes
Guidance for workshops:
Workshops use active learning formats to achieve identified objectives.
Presenters will be entirely responsible for the workshop facilitation.
