Welcome to the 2022 AUA Academic Conference on Co-Curating Flipped Museums for Asian Civilization: A Blended Research and Teaching Approach.

Inspired by the flipped classroom model for blended teaching and learning, the flipped museum approach provides the visitors/learners the opportunity to explore the museum exhibits through online resources and custom-designed outreach modules prior to their museum visits. Innovative designs of flipped museum modules/programs enrich learning outcomes, foster positive experiences and create emotional connections to the local museums.
