Please take note that FOCUS 2024 has a strict policy on No-Show author.

Each paper must be presented by an author accepted paper either in-person or online during the conference. The General Chairs may grant requests for permission to have the paper presented by a substitute presenter under certain circumstances. A request for a substitute presenter must be sent to the General Chairs in advance before the conference date. The author, co-author or representative of the papers would be required to be present during the Q&A session and must be ready to answer any questions.

Authors of no-show papers wishing to appeal the no-show status of their paper must appeal by email to the FOCUS 2024 organising committee (focus@fsktm.edu.my), no later than 30 days after the start of FOCUS 2024 and provide evidence to convincingly demonstrate that their absence was as a result of forces beyond their will and control or that an erroneous decision was made. 

In addition to this policy, the main author of the paper is not allowed to add or drop a co-author when the papers were accepted for publication.
