The International Education Conference (IEC) 2026 will be held at Shaanxi Normal University (SNNU) in Xi’an, China, one of the country’s leading institutions for teacher education and educational research. The university is widely recognised for its strong academic tradition, modern facilities, and vibrant international collaborations.
Located in the historic city of Xi’an, the starting point of the ancient Silk Road, the venue offers participants a unique blend of academic excellence and rich cultural heritage. Xi’an is home to many world-renowned landmarks, including the Terracotta Warriors, the Ancient City Wall, and vibrant cultural districts that reflect China’s long history and global connections.
The conference sessions will take place within the university’s academic facilities, providing an ideal environment for keynote lectures, parallel sessions, workshops, and networking activities. Participants will also have opportunities to experience the local culture through educational and cultural mobility activities organised as part of the conference programme.
