1. What is IpEC 2025?

IpEC 2025 is the International & Postgraduate Education Conference, held in conjunction with the International Hybrid Seminar:

“Towards the Next 40 Years Southeast Asian Studies in Frankfurt.”


2. When and where is the conference?

4. Participants may submit papers under, but not limited to, the following sub-themes:

5. What are the important deadlines?

  • Extended Abstract Submission: 2nd May – 5th August 2025
  • Notification of Acceptance: From 2nd June 2025
  • Early Bird Registration: By 31st July 2025
  • Full Paper Submission: By 5th August 2025
  • Poster Video Submission: By 5th September 2025

6. How do I submit my abstract or full paper?

📌 Note: : Submissions through UMEvent only will not be reviewed. Please ensure you submit via the correct Google Form.


7. What format should I use for my submission?

  • Paper Presenters: Use the Extended Abstract Template
  • Poster Presenters: Use the Poster Abstract Template

📄 Templates and guidelines are available on the website. Submissions that don’t follow the format may be rejected.


8. Has my abstract/paper/poster been accepted?

Submissions will be reviewed and categorized as:

Accepted | 📝 Revision Required | Rejected

Accepted abstract will receive an official acceptance letter.


9. What should I do after receiving acceptance?

10. Are there specific guidelines for the full paper?

Yes. Full paper guidelines are available on the official website. Follow all formatting instructions to ensure publication eligibility.


11. Where can I find poster presentation guidelines?

Poster video instructions and submission links are available on the official website.


12. Are there publication opportunities?

Yes. Selected high-quality papers may be published in:

  • Indonesian Journal of Applied Linguistics (IJAL) (Scopus-indexed)
  • 📚 Lecture Notes in Educational Technology (LNET) by Springer (under evaluation)

📌 Important Notes:

  • Publication is not included in the conference fee
  • Updates on indexing status will be posted on the website

13. What are the conference fees?

We offer early bird rates and different fee categories based on participant type.

15. What is the final deadline for full paper submission?

📅 The deadline for full paper submission is 5th August 2025.


16. Will all accepted full papers be included in the proceedings? Will they be published in 2025?

Only selected full papers that meet quality standards will be included.

The proceedings are currently under review for LNET (Springer) and targeted for publication in 2025, subject to review timelines.


17. Will selected papers be considered for IJAL (Scopus)?

Yes. High-quality papers may be invited to submit to IJAL after an additional reviewing process.


18. Is there an additional fee for publication in IJAL or other indexed journals?

Yes. IJAL and other journal publications are not included in the conference fee. Additional charges might be applied upon acceptance.


19. If my paper is accepted by IJAL, when will it be published?

📆 Papers accepted by IJAL are subject to the journal’s review process and publication schedule.


20. What type of presentation will I be doing?

  • Paper Presenters: You may choose to present onsite or online.
  • Poster Presenters: Presentation is online only via video submission.
