HOW TO REGISTER?

Step 1: To register a new account, go to  https://umevent.um.edu.my/register/

Step 2: Go to your registered email and activate the new account (Note: You will receive the activation email within 24 hours).

Step 3: Go to https://umevent.um.edu.my/MICNC2026

Step 4: On the left side of the MICNC2026 webpage, click on the Login button. Enter your registered ID and password and Sign In. 

Step 5: Select registration as Participant / Presenter / Exhibitor and click Submit.

Step 6: You are now registered!
You can submit your abstract and paper via the UMEvent system and wait for our committee to respond. Thank you!


REGISTRATION FEE:

**Author registration payment must be made by July 31, 2026; otherwise, your paper will not be included in the proceedings.**

3. Local Purchase Order (LPO)

     Applicable to Malaysian Government Agencies only. The original copy of LPO must be received by Conference Secretariat by 31 August 2026 to confirm your  participation.

4. Internal Money Transfer (IMT)

     Applicable for staff/students of UNIVERSITI MALAYA only. Payment can be made via IMT to:

     1ST MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON NANOTECHNOLOGY AND CATALYSIS (NO. WBS: UM.0000419/KWJ.SR)

 

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION

  1. All cancellations of registration must be done in writing and submitted to the “MICNC 2026 Secretariat” (on or before 30 June 2026 to receive a full refund. Please note that an administration fee of 10% of the paid registration fee will be charged.

  2. Cancellation made after 30 June 2026 or ‘no show’ is liable for the FULL registration fee.

  3. All refunds will be made in MYR at the prevailing foreign exchange rate.

  4. Refund of cancellations will be made within three months after the conference. Any charges imposed by banks and credit card issuers will be borne by the Registrants.

  5. The Organizer reserves the right and will inform Participants of any alteration to any of the arrangements for the conference, including the cancellation of the event, should unforeseen circumstances require such action.

  6. In the special circumstances that the entire event is to be canceled, the Organizer will refund the registration fee to the Participants. However, the Organizer will not be liable for other associated costs, e.g., accommodation and traveling expenses, and any inconveniences incurred by the Participants due to the cancellation. Therefore, Participants are advised to arrange for their own travel insurance.
