Ir. Ts. Dr. Sang Yew Ngin

Ir. Ts. Dr. Sang Yew Ngin is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) and Professional Technologist (P.Tech) registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and Malaysian Board of Technologists (MBOT). He has been serving as an Executive Committee member for the Public Sector Engineers Special Interest Group (PSESIG) at the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) since 2015 to present. He is also currently serving as a Board Member for the National Biosafety Board (NBB). Occasionally, he serves as a manuscript reviewer for prestigious academic journals, including the Journal of Cleaner Production and Energy Policy.

Prior to his current appointment in the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK), Dr. Sang accumulated extensive practical experience in the private sector, specializing in palm oil milling as well as industrial water and wastewater treatment. In addition, he possesses deep domain knowledge and expertise in public policy and government administration, having previously served in the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) and the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA).
