He is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) and Professional Technologist (P.Tech) registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and Malaysian Board of Technology (MBOT) in addition to being the Exco for PSESIG, Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) since 2015until now. He is also currently serving as a Board Member for National Biosafety Board (NBB). Occasionally, he also serves as manuscript reviewer with Journal of Cleaner Production and Energy Policy. Ir. Ts. Dr. Sang previously has working experience in the private sectors dealing with the Palm Oil Milling and Industrial Water & Wastewater Treatment. He also has knowledge and expertise in the public policies and administration domain due to his experience and has previously served in the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) and the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA) prior to his current posting in the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK).
