CONTENT

Introduction

• Video must contain the project title.

• Video should display the university and collaborators’ logo.

• Background sound in English needs to be clear and subtitle view in Malay is COMPULSORY. If the background sounds in Malay, subtitle display should be made in English.

• Background music that matches the situation and does not drown the background sound of the video and did not have any copyright issues.

• Video must be provided in high definition & high definition.

• We recommend the “Camtasia Studio” program for video recordings. You can watch sample video templates prepared for video recordings and easily prepare your virtual presentations. You can use the Camtasia Studio program free for 30 days.

Content

Video content:

• Project information: 

  • Title

  • Project leader name

  • Project members

  • Duration of the projects

  • Community targeted and Problem faced by the community

  • Objectives of the project

  • Activities that had been conducted

  • Outcome, output, and impact of the project on the community

• Video must contain at least three (3) testimonials from beneficiaries for examples:

  • Industry

  • Government

  • Non-government organization/ stakeholders

  • Community

  • Others

• Please submit the video clip either in MP4 or AVI format.

• The final video should not exceed 200 MB in size.

• Talking head.

Time allocated for the project video presentation is 3 minutes (maximum).

Presenter shall bear the cost of producing the project video.

All the videos that are sent to UMACE Secretariat will become property of UMACE secretariat

SUBMISSION EXTENDED  ABSTRACT

The extended abstract should be written with font size of 10 pts, Arial, single line spacing. Summarize your research by stating 

• research objectives, 

• research gap, 

• methodology, 

• findings and contribution, 

• Contained within one paragraph (between 200 and 250 words).

• Deadline: 13th August 2021 (Friday)  at 12:00 pm Malaysian Time

SUBMISSION OF PROJECT VIDEO

Please name your video file according this format: 

• your name_topic keyword.UMACE2021.mpeg
• e.g. zalfa_health.UMACE2021.mpeg

Please  submit your project video via google drive to umace@um.edu.my, attention to:

Following the submission of the project video, the presenter should add following information to the mail content;
