First Call For Papers

THE CONFERENCE COMMITTEE IS calling for papers from researchers and practitioners related to “Reimagining Libraries for a Post-Pandemic World”.

PAPERS SHOULD FOCUS ON RESEARCH, IDEA and/or PROFESSIONAL PRACTICES within these topics as well as highlighting novel practices and be of sufficient depth for a 15-20 minute presentation, with time for discussion. Papers will be blind peer reviewed by a panel comprising international LIS professionals, academicians and practitioners. There is a special track to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between young researchers, in a constructive and welcoming environment. ICoLIS 2021 warmly welcomes postgraduate research students to participate and share their early-stage, or yet fully structured research, within the conference theme and sub- themes.

Due to current travel restrictions, and uncertainty on the date these restrictions will end, it is expected that ICoLIS 2021 will be a virtual conference. We are considering the Opening Ceremony as an on-site event, if possible. All presenters are expected to attend the conference as paying participants; the organizing committee is not able to sponsor any participants.
