Do you provide accommodation?

All attendees are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements. 

I need a Letter of Invitation for my travel visa. What can I do?

If you are an author, you can download your invitation/acceptance letter by logging in on the online application with your email and password. However, if you are attending as a member of general public, you should first complete your registration and then you will be able to request your invitation letter at icolis@um.edu.my 

Can abstracts and papers be submitted in different foreign languages?

No. The official language of the event is English. Therefore, all presentations, abstracts and papers should be written in English. Please note that there will be no simultaneous translation either. Therefore, all participants are expected to speak and understand English fluently.

What if I miss a submission deadline?

If you missed a deadline, please email icolis@um.edu.my

Are meals included in the registration fee?

All registered attendees are invited to join 3 coffee break (morning and afternoon on Wednesday), 2 coffee break on Thursday), 2 buffet lunches (Wednesday and Thursday). If any accompanying person is interested in joining the lunches, individual tickets can be bought at the Hotel Restaurant Staff. 

Can an accompanying person have access to the conference area?

Only registered participants can access to the conference area. You should always wear the official tag that will be given to you during the registration process. The tag will allow you to enter the conference area, join the tea break, lunches etc.

Registration is closed. Can I still attend?

Yes. Please email to icolis@um.edu.my for assistance.

Will there be certificates?

We will issue digital certificate for presenters and participants, and will be sent out to registered email.

What happen to my paper? Will you publish it?

Full papers will be published as conference proceedings. In addition, selected papers will be published in the Malaysian Journal Library & information Science, indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus. 

What is the procedure for cancellation?

All cancellation request must be emailed to icolis@um.edu.my
