16th Southeast Asia Astronomy Network (SEAAN) Meeting 2026

The Southeast Asia Astronomy Network (SEAAN) Meeting is the premier regional forum for astronomy in Southeast Asia, bringing together researchers, educators, students, and institutions to share scientific discoveries, educational practices, and public outreach initiatives. Since its establishment in 2007 by the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT), SEAAN has fostered collaboration by rotating its annual meeting among member countries.
The 16th SEAAN Meeting, hosted by Universiti Malaya in partnership with Planetarium Negara and NARIT, will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 16–19 November 2026. The conference will celebrate regional achievements, promote new collaborations, and explore how emerging astronomical facilities can accelerate scientific discovery and capacity building across Southeast Asia.
